29日windows 8消费者预览版就出来了，新东西出来总是要尝试一下的。

预览版的安装过程非常简单，在原有Windows的基础上，用虚拟光驱加载ISO镜像或者解压该ISO文件。
安装WCP作为单系统：直接运行其中setup.exe文件即可。
安装双系统，运行sources文件夹下的setup.exe文件，按照提示安装，然后选择自定义安装到其他分区即可。不需要特意格式化分区，只需要一个足够大的空间就行。

数十分钟的等待就可以了：
Win 8没有了“开始”菜单，换成了Metro风格的新菜单
这些程序基本上都是全屏的
应用商店中出现了两款国产程序，QQ和renren HD
QQ好像并不稳定，好友显示不全，和烂尾的Linux QQ一个德行，时常掉线
至于renren，主页面无法滚动，无法观看视频，只能点击链接用浏览器打开
没有驱动，试了下Win 7的驱动，基本能用。
首次出现的应用商店，应用十分贫乏。
在开始菜单栏，可以像Linux下一样直接搜索程序，可以快速打开程序，只是所有程序都是全屏，来回切换不方便。
切换到Metro界面的开始菜单需要将鼠标移到左下角并点击，如果想Gnome一样采用边缘触发的形式，鼠标移到左下角直接切换到Metro界面会方便很多。
据说开机很快，老机器不觉得，反正关机并不快。
自带的输入法非常赞，基本上不用下载谷歌输入法了。
等正式版吧。
